What happens when you use this site
The Bridge Church ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website. Here's what information each part of the site involves, in plain terms.
You fill out a form
Prayer requests, serve sign-ups, contact forms, event and group registrations. Everything you write is collected and processed by Planning Center on our behalf, so our team can follow up with you.
You give online
Your gift is processed by PushPay. Payment details go directly to PushPay — we never see your full card number.
You order merch
Checkout and payment happen through Shopify and Shopify Payments. Shopify Payments uses transaction information (payment details, billing and shipping address, device data) to process your payment and help prevent fraud. Your name, shipping address, and order details are then shared with Printful, who makes and ships your order.
You take an assessment
The serving style and maturity assessments save your answers only on your own device. We never receive them.
You chat with the assistant
Your messages are sent through OpenRouter to an AI provider to generate a reply. Please don't share personal or sensitive information in chat.
You just browse
Our hosting may collect standard technical information (browser type, pages visited, approximate location) to keep the site running and understand how it's used.
We use this information to respond to you, pray for you, help you take next steps, process giving and orders, and improve the site.
Everything we use
For full transparency, here is every service this site relies on and what it does. Each one handles your data under its own privacy policy.
- Planning Center — Forms, prayer requests, event and group registrations, serve sign-ups. Your contact details and anything you write in a form are stored there.
- PushPay — Processes online giving. Payment details go directly to PushPay.
- Shopify & Shopify Payments — Powers the merch store, checkout, and payments. Shopify Payments uses transaction info (payment details, billing and shipping address, device data) to process payments and help prevent fraud.
- Printful — Produces and ships merch orders. Your name, shipping address, and order details are shared with Printful so it can make and deliver your order.
- Subsplash — Powers our church app (App Store and Google Play).
- Vimeo — Hosts and streams series videos on the site.
- YouTube (Google) — Hosts our sermons and live streams. Video playback may set cookies and collect viewing data under Google's policies.
- Behold — Displays our Instagram feeds on location pages. Instagram (Meta) handles the underlying data.
- Bible API — Looks up scripture references you open on the site.
- OpenRouter & AI providers — Carries your chat messages to an AI model to generate replies.
- Google Fonts — Serves some of the site's fonts. Your browser downloads them directly from Google.
- Hosting & infrastructure — May collect standard technical info (browser type, pages visited, approximate location) to keep the site running and secure.
We also link out to other sites (like Facebook, YouVersion, RightNow Media, and podcast platforms). Once you leave our site, those services' own privacy policies apply.
Quick answers
Do you sell my information?
No. We never sell your personal information.
Do you see my credit card number?
No. Giving goes directly through PushPay, and merch payments go directly through Shopify Payments. We never receive or store your full card details.
Do the assessments send my answers anywhere?
No. The serving style and maturity assessments save your answers only on your own phone or computer. We never see them.
What about the chat assistant?
Messages you send in chat are sent through OpenRouter to an AI provider to generate a reply. Don't share personal or sensitive information in chat.
Do you collect information about kids?
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, contact us and we will delete it.
Can I get my information deleted?
Yes. Email us and we will delete or correct anything you've shared with us. To clear answers saved on your own device, use the reset options in each tool or clear your browser storage.
